On this project I again worked as part of the HAP collective. HAP has a long connection to the stunning yet little known ruins of Dunkeswell Abbey, once one of the most significant religious houses in Devon. The site also includes a nineteenth century church that has its own fascinating story as well as the potential to engage new audiences with the nationally-important medieval abbey ruins. This project, funded with a grant from the Architectural Heritage Fund, enabled me to support the trustees to understand the significance and challenges of this unique site and plan for its future care.
